Accessibility statement
I'm committed to making simoneferraro.co.uk accessible to as many people as possible, including those who use assistive technologies. The site is designed and built to meet the WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines.
Where things stand
The site has been designed and tested against Level AA of WCAG 2.1. Testing was carried out by me rather than by an independent body, and I keep monitoring and improving accessibility over time. If you run into any difficulty, I'd really like to hear your feedback (see below).
What I've built in
- Semantic structure with ordered headings and landmark regions (header, navigation, main content, footer)
- Full keyboard navigation, with a tab order that follows the visual order
- Text colour contrast that meets Level AA
- Respect for the system "reduce motion" preference
- Alternative text for informative images, and a clear indication of the active page in the navigation
No third-party content
This site loads no third-party content, embeds, fonts, or trackers, so there are no external components outside my control that could affect its accessibility.
Tell me if something's off
If you hit an obstacle using the site, or want to report an accessibility problem, please get in touch. I'll do my best to respond and fix things as soon as I can.
